For many years, the North Carolina Botanical Garden has organized an annual exhibit called, Sculpture in the Garden.. This year, the event was held for the 34th time, and since it's less than a ten-minute drive from our Chapel Hil hone to the botanical garden, I decided to check it out. The exhibit showcases the work of (mostly) North Carolinian artists. Many of the sculptures are for sale, and indeed, some had already been marked as sold by the time I wandered through the garden.
On this page, you can explore the sculptures that were featured during the past few years. For many of the sculptures, the artists have added some information or commentary about their work; check it out, particularly if one or the other work speaks to you. As for me, I just chose a few sculptures that I particularly liked for this page. I hope you enjoy the selection.
