Baltimore skyline and Inner Harbor seen from Federal Hill |
On September 19, 2018, we traveled to Baltimore for some sightseeing. We had booked an AirBnB on Elm Avenue in Hampden; the place was very comfortable, featured a bright green door, and was protected by an outdoor cat named Killer, a feline famous enough to have his own Instagram page (I'm not making this up; google it if you don't believe me). We began the next day by visiting the neighborhood called Charles Village where we admired the "painted ladies". From there, we went to Federal Hill with its wonderful view of the Inner Harbor; while there, we availed ourselves of the opportunity to visit the American Visionary Art Museum. In the afternoon we walked around Baltimore's old town and later had dinner at Clavel, the place to go if you like Mexican food. The following day, we visited the Baltimore Conservatory and went for a stroll around the harbor before starting our journey back to North Carolina in the early afternoon. We had a great time!
