Last month, I published a page about shooting Kodak Ektar 100 film. At the time, mentioned that I had also taken a few photos with Kodak's Portra 400 in France. With this page, I want to conclude my experiences with shooting color film. It contains photos taken with both film types; all images labeled as ISO 100 were taken with Ektar whereas the ISO 400 images are Portra. As was the case last month, the photos on this page were taken with my Minolta SR-T-303 and one of three prime lenses: an MD Rokkor-X 50mm ƒ1:1.7, an MD W-Rokkor-X 28mm ƒ1:2.8 wide-angle, and an MD 135mm ƒ1:2.8 telephoto lens.
For more practical aspects of and comments about what it feels like to shoot film after many years of working with digital cameras, please look at the remarks on my Portra 400 page. As stated last month, I now want to try some black and white film. For that, I will most likely use my wonderful 1975 Nikkormat FT2 camera.
