This afternoon, we decided to take a touristy view of Cannes. Not, mind you, that we went as far as taking one of those obnoxious little trains that clog up the streets of practically every touristy town these days; no, that would have been too extreme. Instead, we boarded the doubled-decker open-topped bus number 8. This line is part of the Cannes public transportation system and runs from the old port to the Palm Beach Casino all the way at the other end of the Croisette and back. Luckily, there were very few riders, so it was an easy matter to move about to take pictures. On a couple of occasions, the bus got so close to the edge of the road that I got whipped by palm leaves and almost dropped my iPhone. Photography is a dangerous business...
